Educators in the loop
AI recommendations, generated content and automated feedback always pass through human review before reaching learners. Teachers retain final authority.
About the studio
LearnDrive AI is an adaptive learning and learning-analytics studio headquartered at 112 Harbord Street, Suite 200 — in the education district adjacent to the University of Toronto. We serve client institutions, instructional designers and L&D teams across Canada and North America who want learning-AI tools that respect academic integrity, accessibility and the limits of what data can claim.
Harbord Street · Toronto
Our studio sits among faculty offices, independent schools and edtech startups that share Harbord Street's quiet academic rhythm. Being walkable to campus libraries and seminar rooms keeps us close to the realities of higher education — crowded office hours, under-resourced tutoring centres and courses that look finished until a screen reader tries them.
We are a professional services firm, not an accredited college or university. We do not enrol students, issue credentials or run a "learn AI and learn AI for personal income" programme. "Learn" in our name refers to teaching and learning delivered for institutions; "Drive" refers to the momentum of learner progress — not cloud storage, motoring or sales targets. The .pro domain is branding only.
Team approach
Engagements are led by senior learning engineers and instructional designers who have shipped adaptive learning, intelligent tutoring and learning analytics in production — not junior staff learning on your budget. We work in small, focused teams: typically one learning-AI lead, one instructional designer and one integration engineer per project, with educator review workflows designed alongside technical architecture from week one.
We do not fabricate named experts, awards or institutional partnerships. What we offer is method: discovery sprints, bounded pilots, measured iteration and honest reporting about what worked, what did not and what requires further study. Clients receive direct access to senior practitioners throughout — not a rotating cast of junior staff.
Responsible AI
AI recommendations, generated content and automated feedback always pass through human review before reaching learners. Teachers retain final authority.
Our tools support learning and honest assessment. They are not designed to complete assignments, write essays or answer exams on a student's behalf.
UDL and AODA requirements are addressed during design — not patched after launch. Adaptive paths must work with assistive technology.
PIPEDA-aligned data governance, minimal collection, fairness checks and no automated decisions about learners without human oversight.
We are honest about model bias, outdated training data and the fact that learning analytics show correlation — not causation. That plainspoken approach is why K-12 boards, colleges, universities and enterprise L&D teams across the Canadian market choose to pilot with us before scaling. We publish no guaranteed outcome claims and no fabricated partner logos.
